Ajith's film Valimai with director H. Vinoth is gearing up for a first look release soon or so is the buzz in the grapevine. We had reported previously of a production source stating that Valimai first look will be unveiled only after the shooting wraps.

While an overseas schedule is still pending for Ajith's movie, the actor has been seen sporting a new buzz cut, which many believe is for this said shooting portion. While it is unclear as to when Valimai team will be travelling abroad, Valimai first look however is said to be revealing in April, 2021. 

Recent reports also suggest that producer Boney Kapoor has assured distributors that Valimai will release on OTT only after 35 days of theatrical run. This is because major ticket Tamil movies during the pandemic have either released directly on streaming platforms, or made their digital premiere within 2 weeks of theatrical release.
