Following Jyotika's Pon Magal Vandhal and Keerthy Suresh starrer Penguin, another heroine-lead movie in Tamil is releasing directly on OTT platform bypassing theatrical release. The official twitter handle of Zee 5 Tamil has announced that Danny starring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and the Labrador dog will be premiering on their platform [Release date is yet to be announced].

Danny follows a police investigation story that involves a sniffer dog with the titular name and also stars Kawin, Sayaji Shinde, Vela Ramamoorthy and Anitha Sampath among others. The film is written and directed by LC Santhanamoorthy and produced by Trident Arts.
