Ajith-Vijay direct rivalry may be a thing of the past (what with both actors minding their own business now) but it is a well known fact that their fans fight it out ruthlessly on online platforms even to date. And as if to fume these folks in this difficult time of lockdown and Coronavirus quarantine, a video interview of music composer Bharadwaj is being shared at vapid speed, particularly for a statement made by the composer on actor Ajith.
Citing the infamous Ajith-Vijay rivalry song Unakenna from the 2004 movie Attagaasam which even for its times raised a lot of eyebrows, composer Bharadwaj said in this video interiew, "Ajith was answering to Vijay in this song by asking Unakenna..I would say the first and foremost, main contributor for is Ajith..He wasn't a child..He knew what he did."
Needing further clarification, the interviewer goes on to ask if Ajith had part in writing the lyrics or even seeding the idea which is immediately refuted by Bharadwaj and he says the director (Saran) and the lyricist (Vairamuthu) were responsible for the same.
However, given the limited time netizens seem to have in their hands these days, they have obviously (pun intended) assumed it as Ajith contributing to the idea/lyrics of Unakenna, setting it up for yet another Ajith-Vijay controversy.
