On Sunday Australia joined the list of countries to bring its movie theaters to a close due to the ongoing Coronavirus COVID19 pandemic. Australia's theaters had joined theaters in all of Europe and the Center East in shutting down and now looks like Indian movies that usually target overseas markets like UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand will have to wait for two more months to have a theatrical release.

While it remains unknown if the scenario is subject to change in-between, an overseas distributor says the date of movie theater suspension in all the said countries might extend given the pandemic scenario. This means that movies in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam will have to wait till end of May, 2020 to find a theater for an overseas release.
