Kochadaiyaan to release within this year

The most anticipated Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kochadaiyaan', directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth, will hit the screens within this year. Murali Manohar, the film's co-producer, has revealed the news to a leading Tamil daily. The movie is getting delayed as it involves a lot of computer graphics and other advanced technologies.

Kochadaiyaan will be at par with 'Avatar'

The movie is being made at a budget of Rs 125 Crore and it uses 'Photo Realistic Performance Capturing' technology. The movie is touted to be at par with Hollywood movies such as 'Avatar' and 'Tin Tin'. The crew also believes that the audience would watch the film at least twice and younger Rajinikanth's heroic acts will impress them. 

Release date to be announced in October

The movie's editing process has been completed. Special effects and background score processes are happening simultaneously at a brisk pace. The movie's release date will be announced in October.
