Actor Vijay is currently busy with Thalapathy 64 (tentative title), his upcoming movie with Lokesh Kanagaraj and this film is being produced by the actor's cousin's banner Xavier Britto Films. And if sources are to be believed, then Vijay's next i.e. Thalapathy 65 will also be a home turf production i.e. it will be produced by his father S.A. Chandrasekhar. 

This definitely comes as a surprise given banners like Super Good Films were keen on collaborating with Vijay; However an official confirmation on the same is awaited. It is also being said that Thalapathy 65 will be a rural-based subject and in the past director Perarasu was associated with it, though nothing concrete was confirmed.
