At a time when stand-up comedy shows are reduced to double entendres, cuss words and body shaming, Alexander Babu's musical comedy show "Alex in Wonderland" is a breath of fresh air as it packs some important life lessons along the way in a subtle yet impactful manner.

For over two hours, Alex owns the stage with his pitch-perfect singing, effortless playing of multiple musical instruments and of course, spontaneous one-liners. The show is more of a tribute to revered musicians like MSV, Ilayaraja, AR Rahman, SPB, Yesudas and also to undercelebrated legends like Malaysia Vasudevan and Sirkazhi Govindarajan. Apart from rendering their songs, Alex also takes harmless digs at their mannerisms and working styles. The most heartening fact is that all the jokes are in good humour and never hurt the musicians or their ardent fans.

Apart from musicians, Alex also involves the two iconic actors -- Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, in his show.
