The shoot for Tamannaah's upcoming film Petromax has already been completed and the post-production work for the film is happening on full swing. The latest regarding the film is that the makers are planning to release the film in the month of September 2019.

Touted to be a horror-comedy, the film is directed by Rohin Venkatesan of ‘Adhey Kangal’ fame and is produced by Eagle’s Eye Production. Yogi Babu and Kaali Venkat are playing important roles in this movie, which has musical score by Ghibran and cinematography handled by Dani Raymond.  Vinoth Rajkumar of 96 fame is taking care of art department and story is written by Mahi V Raghav for Petromax, which is expected to be a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu in September.
