In India, we've had fictional period warfares that are visually extravagant (like The Baahubali series) or technically sound (like the motion-capture film Kochadaiiyaan) but in a first we will get to see a 3D mythological film titled Kurukshetram. Tamil actors Arjun and Sneha feature in crucial roles in the movie, which will now be listed among the 3D hopefuls of the South film industry since Rajinikanth's 2.0. 

Produced by Muniratna, and directed by Naganna, Kurukshetra stars 'Challenging Star' of Kannada film industry, Darshan in the lead and he plays Duryodhana in the mythological drama. Arjun Sarja will be seen as Karna in the film while Sneha will be seen portraying Droupathi, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood Arjuna, Ambareesh will be seen playing Bheeshma and actor Ravichandran playing Krishna. 

The film also stars Meghana Raj, Haripriya and Danish Akhtar Saifi among others and its Telugu trailer which was recently released can be viewed here.
