If recent reports are anything to go by, then actor Vijay Sethupathi is all set to act in a biopic called 800, in which he will play the role of former Srilankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan. The film title is said to signify the number of test wickets taken by the international spinner during his active career. 

It is also being said that 800 will begin shooting from December, 2019 though an official confirmation on all this is yet to be made. If materialized, 800 will join the list of films to be inspired from real-life cricketers such as MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Azhar (based on Mohammed Azharrudin), Sachin: A Billion Dreams and the upcoming 83, a film based on India's iconic win at the 1983 World Cup.
