Cult. Fit which is the physical section of Cure. Fit, a healthcare platform established by former Flipkart executives Mukesh Bansal and Ankit Nagori, has Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan as one of its investors and brand ambassador. Hrithik was seen actively promoting the chain of gyms before its recent establishment and the same had spelled trouble for the Krishh actor right now.
The Hyderabad police on Wednesday booked Hrithik Roshan and three others from Cult-Fit under section 420 (cheating) and 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) after a complaint was registered against them by a gym user. According to the FIR copy, one Shashikanth has alleged that Cult.fit enrolled more people than it could accommodate and later failed to assign them the time slots as promised for members to utilize the gym.
Since a large number of people were lured with Hrithik as the face of he company, the actor has been named as one of the accused. On their part Cult.fit have denied all charges and stated, “The current police complaint appears to have been filed subsequently against us falsely, while also mischievously and wrongly dragging our celebrity brand ambassador Hrithik Roshan into it. We are cooperating with the authorities as per the due process and evaluating the remedial action,”

The Telangana High Court under Justice G Sri Devi on Tuesday, directed the police department to not take any coercive action on actor Hrithik Roshan and three directors of Cult.fit for the next four months.
