Keerthy Suresh gets a warm welcome from late Sridevi's daughter!

 

We had earlier reported that actress Keerthy Suresh is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Ajay Devgn in a film to be directed by Badhaai Ho director Amit Sharma and to be produced by Boney Kapoor and Fresh Lime Films.

The actress' coming on board on this yet untitled football-based film was confirmed by Boney Kapoor's daughter Jhanvi Kapoor, who took to her Instagram to write that she has been 'obsessed with' Keerthy ever since she watched Mahanati.

Interestingly, earlier reports of the film also said that it was Boney Kapoor who suggested Keerthy's name to the director after he saw her performance in Mahanati.
 

The movie which will be based on the Indian football team between 1951 and 1962 is expected to begin shooting from June, 2019 and will see Ajay Devgn play Syed Abdul Rahim, coach and manager of the team. Keerthy Suresh will be seen playing his wife in the film!
