Mystery behind Sibiraj's Maayon revealed!

Maayon, which shares a title with a Vijay film track is actor Sibiraj's upcoming film in which he plays an archaeologist. In an interview to a leading daily, the team of this project whose shooting is currently going on elaborated on the story and genre of the film

Maayon is apparently a thriller that revolves around a mysterious temple around 5000 years old. The film’s story revolves around a few archaeologists who visit the temple for research and end up in a tangle of unexpected incidents. 

Archaeology is said to be the prime theme of this film and hence Maayon is expected to have plenty of art and VFX works in it. Tanya Ravichandran plays the female lead in this film which is directed by debutant Kishore N.
