Mersal Magician Raman Sharma accuses Sri Thenandal Films of 'Payment Fraud'!

It has been over 15 months since actor Vijay's Mersal released and now, through a video message Canada based magician Raman Sharma has accused Sri Thenandal Films (or Thenandal Studios Limited / TSL) of payment fraud! Apparently the makers owe Rs. 3 lakh in payment to Sharma and because of the delay and the legal proceedings Sharma had to undertake to get paid, he now demands an 'extra lakh' (totaling up to Rs. 4 lakh) to be paid as well.

Taking to his twitter account Raman Sharma sent out two video messages explaining in detail of the situation:

He also posted screen-shots of the conversation he had with Murali Ramasamy, head of TSL.

In the video Raman can be heard saying that the entire team of Mersal came across as sweet to him (and the same could be seen from his earlier posts (see below) with the team as well); but his only problem seems to be with the 'unprofessional manner' with which his payment was dealt.

Murali Ramasamy or his wife Hema Rukmani (who is also at the fore-front of things at TSL) are yet to make a statement on the matter. Representatives at TSL were contacted but were not available for our queries when this article was published.
