Filmmaker Leena Manimekalai has found a support within the Tamil film industry in her MeToo claims against director Susi Ganesan, for the heroine of his film Thiruttu Payalae 2 has come out openly against the director. Actress Amala Paul who is a well established name, has broken the norm of a leading Tamil film heroine coming out with an accusation and has issued a statement supporting Leena and has shared her own experience with the director.
Here is a look at her statement:

Amala Paul is the second name after Siddharth to come in support of Leena. It is worth mentioning here that actor Siddharth claimed in a tweet that his father was intimidated by Susi & co. to withdraw their open support for Leena, after she claimed in a social media post that Susi Ganesan had once tried confining her in his car on the pretext of a lift and forced her to pay a visit to his apartment.
