Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam joins the list of comic books on Indian films

 

Sivakarthikeyan starrer Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, which was a hit romantic comedy movie in 2013 is now a comic book and the same is available for sale at the Discovery Book Palace located in YMCA grounds at Chennai. Director of the film Ponram. has authored this book in Tamil language and it is sold for a price of Rs. 250 in the market. 

Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam is the third Tamil film after Muthu (March, 2017) and Indrajith (November, 2017) to have its transcript transformed from screen to page.

Other Indian films which have done this in the past are Shah Rukh Khan's superhero film Ra One, which had a digital book release titled G.one: The Journey Begins (there was also a temporary supplement issued out to readers of a leading newspaper and it was titled G.One in Ra. Ville) and the internationally acclaimed Telugu film Baahubali, which had its comic book releases in both digital and Manga versions
