Vijay or Will Smith: Who is A.R. Rahman collaborating with next?

 

Composer A.R. Rahman is in the news these days for promoting his five part docu-series Harmony with A.R. Rahman, that is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime from August 15, 2018. He is also making headlines with his take on Bollywood music, with statements like,"..Bollywood movie soundtracks are like a motherless child where several music composers are coming on board for one film and composing each song of the film. What they are concerned is if his/her song is there or not. They are not bothered about the whole story and how all the songs are working in that..” 

Admist all this, A.R. Rahman's name is being associated with actor Vijay's film after Sarkar (Vijay 63), which is believed, will be directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainments. However, there are no confirmations to this buzz. 

Also, Rahman recently hinted of a possible collaboration with Hollywood actor Will Smith, when he took to Instagram to write, "Had a thoughtful brainstorming session with the “One and only “Will Smith about something close to my heart ..hint ..(indie music ..Indo 🇺🇸..indo 🇨🇦 Indo 🇬🇧 Chennai’s international Indie music festival ...KMMC ..December music season ..)thank you Ideal entertainment 👍EPI." It is unclear though if it would be for a film or a music album or something else.
