Game of Thrones shooting comes to an end, Maise Williams aka Arya stark latest to post farewell message!

As is known, the final season of the popular Television show Game of Thrones will be airing next year and fans of the show have been keeping tabs on the filming process that has been happening over the last few months. And according to one of the online fan communities of the show, which seems to be the primary source of first-hand, on-location updates about the show's shooting, Game of Thrones officially filmed their last day on July 6, 2018. It is worth mentioning here that most of the cast is said to have indulged in an festive wrap up party, on the night of June 30, 2018 prior to this and photos of the same have been circulated online since then.

Added to this, actress Maise Williams who plays one of GOT's most popular characters, Arya Stark posted a farewell message to the show through her Instagram account and in doing so has joined her co-star Emilia Clarke in the list of GOT cast members who have publicly acknowledged bidding goodbye to the show. Maise Williams wrote, "goodbye belfast. goodbye arya. goodbye game of thrones. what a joy i’ve had. here’s to the adventures to come #lastwomanstanding #barely #immasleepforthenextfouryears #justkiddingidontsleep"

Game of Thrones show is a TV adaptation of the first book of George RR Martin's fantasy novel series A Song of Ice and Fire. The show was filmed mostly in Belfast and has till date received 38 Primetime Emmy awards (most prestigious award in the American TV world) and has enjoyed wide viewership and huge popularity from all over the world.
