Malayalam superstar Mammootty will be essaying the titular role of late Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy in the biopic titled Yatra. The teaser of Yatra has been released by the makers. Mahi V Raghav is helming the biopic. The film went on floors last month in Hyderabad. 

Yatra will pay tribute to YSR’s historic 60-day Padayatra in 2003. Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy are bankrolling this prestigious project under 70mm Entertainments banner. The makers are planning to release the movie in January next year for Sankranthi.
