Preview of Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga and Chennaiyil Oru Naal

Two Tamil movies -- Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga and Chennaiyil Oru Naal are hitting the screens this week (March 29). Both the movies have managed to garner people’s attention just before the release date. It is very important for these movies to impress the audience right away to sustain at the box-office as 'Settai' is slated for release on April 5.

Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga

• 'Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga' is a multi-starrer and has Vemal, Sivakarthikeyan, Bindu Madhavi and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles. Soori will provide comic relief. The movie is expected to be a laugh riot and it is directed by Pandiraj.
• Studio Green is distributing the movie and they managed to get the bigger screens for the film. Their vigorous promotions will make sure of a good opening.
• Sivakarthikeyan has earned himself a huge fan following. In spite of the fact that his last year releases received mixed reviews, they managed to become profitable for the producers.
• National Award winning director ‘Pandiraj’ is known for making complete family entertainers that convey a message, laced with comedy. KBKR is expected to be another neat family flick.

Chennaiyil Oru Naal

• 'Chennaiyil Oru Naal' is the remake of critically acclaimed Malayalam hit film ‘Traffic’. The movie is based on a real life incident that happened in Chennai and it is directed by Shaheed Kader. 
• The movie boasts of a huge star cast including Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Cheran, Prasanna, Mithun Tejasvi, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Parvathi Menon and Iniya. The movie is expected to repeat the magic that it created in Malayalam. 
• Sun Pictures is distributing the film and good word of mouth should help this movie's run at the box-office. Suriya has done a cameo role in the film, which has further promoted the film. 

Final Words

It is going to be an interesting week at the box-office as two movies of different genres are releasing. While 'Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga' is a comic caper, ‘Chennaiyil Oru Naal’ might turn out to be critics’ choice.
