The open fire by Tamil Nadu Police during the anti-sterlite protests at Tuticorin left 11 dead and among the Tamil film celebrities who spoke out on the topic, actor Madhavan was one. The actor had tweeted out in support of the locals who were protesting and has urged the National media to give more overage to such stories.

Unfortunately, the actor who is usually seen maintaining his cool on the surface ended up loosing it over this twitter troll who seemed to have made an irrelevant implication about Madhavan's place of residence (which is Mumbai).
