The new title look of Saamy2 (Saamy Square) has been revealed by its makers. The earlier logo had the title Saamy 2 (indicated by two bulliets) but the latest one comes with a square (Saamy²). While there's been a huge buzz that Vikram might be playing double role in the film, the title giving prominence to Square does confirm it.

The makers had temporarily stopped the film's shoot last November due to Vikram's personal commitments. The film shoot has now resumed after a brief hiatus. The team is currently shooting in Tirunelveli.

Saamy 2 is sequel to director Hari's 2003 blockbuster film "Saamy". This is the third collaboration of Hari and Vikram after "Saamy" and "Arul". Keerthy Suresh plays the leading lady. The supporting cast includes Prabhu,  Bobby Simha, and Soori. Music by Devi Sri Prasad. Saamy Square is produced by Thamees Films.
