Not Nagarjuna but it is this Naan Ee star for Dhanush!

 

Telugu actor Nagarjuna who was last seen in Kollywood as Karthi's Thozha was in the news a while ago for likely sharing screen space with Dhanush. Seems like that is not happening as reportedly, that role has now been okayed by Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep. Sudeep who the Tamil audience recognise as the antagonist of Naan Ee and also for his cameo in Baahubali, will be seen in a pivotal role in Dhanush's upcoming film with Sri Thenandal Films.

Dhanush will begin shooting for this movie from August, 2018, and it will be his second directorial venture after Power Paandi. The movie is speculated to be a period drama with a portion of it set in the pre-independence era. Dhanush will also be seen this year in Gautham Menon's Enai Noki Payyum Thota, Vetrimaaran's Vada Chennai and his Hollywood debut The Extraordinary Journey of Fakir
