High court announces verdict on Simbu's Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangathavan (AAA)

In what seemed like a history repititon of sorts, director Aadhik Ravichandran's upcoming movie Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangathavan (AAA1D) found itself in a legal tussle, when financier Ramesh filed a suit against the producer of the film. According to Ramesh, Michael Rayappan of Global Infotainment Private Limited owed him Rs. 25 lakhs and sought an interim junction to stay the release of AAA1D. It was then ordered by the court that Rayappan pay the said amount before release or submit a mortgage document equivalent in value. Now, a day before the film's release the high court has lifted the stay as Rayappan chose to do the latter.

Simbu's earlier film Idhu Namma Aalu went through an identical legal battle during release with the difference being this time, the producers were able to sort the issue on time. Also starring Shriya Saran and Tamannah AAA1D is hitting theatre screens tomorrow(June 23, 2017) and has Yuvan Shankar Raja for the music.
