Singham 3 announces an official release date

After being postponed for three times, actor Suriya's third edition of the Singham series has announced a release date in the coming month. The movie is now all set to hit theatre screens on February 9, 2017. The film was earlier slotted to be released on republic day this year, but was delayed owing to the Jallikattu protests. In 2016, the movie was delayed twice due to demonetisation and the then Chief minister's unexpected demise.

Touted to be one the most expensive movie of the series, S3/Si3 has been directed by Hari and also starrs Anushka Shetty and Shruthi Haasan in lead roles. With Harris Jayaraj for the music, the movie has been produced by K.E.Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green and will be released by Eros International.
