S3 postponed due to external factors - Suriya

The third part of the Singham franchise, S3 was touted as the most expensive film of the series and had created quite a lot of anticipation among the fans. However the postponement of the movie's release (from December 23, 2016) has left many dejected. Taking this into account, the lead actor of the series, Suriya, has made an explanatory statement on the same. He has stated that the movie's postponement has been caused by external factors which happens to be beyond the control of movie makers. Seeking support from his fans, he concluded saying that the decision comes in light of the larger good. Directed by Hari, the movie starrs Anushka Shetty and Shruthi Haasan in lead roles with Harris Jayaraj for the music.
