Vijay starrer Sarkar is one of the hugely anticipated films in Kollywood this year. Sun Pictures has started the film's promotions in full swing from today. The makers have announced that the first single from the film will be launched on September 24 at 6 pm. The official audio launch is set to happen on October 2 in a grand manner. AR Rahman has scored the music for the film.

Sarkar starring Vijay and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and is touted to be an action-packed political drama. Radha Ravi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Pala Karuppiah play pivotal roles in the film. The film is gearing up for Diwali release. The post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace.
