One of the most interesting films that I have ever seen. Please don't compare with Soodhu kavvum. Having said that there were a few areas where Nalan could have spiced up the proceedings. Vijay character has a similar vibe of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan but Madonna did very well . good and should be watched. (more)

KKP maintained its testing pace throughout as for its Lead Characters' lives. But that same perspective demanded exquisite elements round the Movie for to have kept it tictac. Properly done yet requiring for the expectation led the Performances to be adequate enough similarly, the Cinematography. Certain interests could have been made of the Director's effort adding richness to the level of inactivity and emptiness held within. 1.5 stars for the proper Performances and missing interests of the Crew. Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum is easily one of the finest 'Relationship based' films to have come out avoiding all cliches associated with a normal love story or rom-com. I am calling this a relationship based film and not entirely a rom - com as this is more a story about 2 people having aims of varying capabilities in life (an IT job and a bar of his own respectively) but they end up being each other's support systems with weird turn of events. Nalan's potrayal of this relationship has to stand as one of Tamil cinema's finest in recent times. The Korean original was beautifully adapted by Nalan to suit Tamil audience and has made it work with really quirky writing and superb dialogues. Vijay Sethupathy's beautifully subtle performance added with Madonna's stunning debut showing make this a must watch. Kathir' and Yazhini's characterizations were uniquely presented without any over the top scenes and Kudos to the team for a neat entertainer. Hats off to Vijay Sethuathi for selecting varied scripts and being commercially successful with them too. Well Done Hattrick Nayagan Vijay Sethupathi !! (more)

Breezy Love Story Vijay Sethupathi stands out as a performer and a perfect entry for Madona into Tamil.. Simple love story but very interesting screenplay. Songs and background music are added plus to the movie. Samuthirakani portion is less but he makes strong impact. Dialogues are the best part of this movie..Go4IT (more)

You wont realize its a Korean movie (my dear desperado) remake, unless told. Such have they made. With very few characters, no major obstacles and a wafer thin plot.Its quite breezy, VS is comical (no fights, only talks) n so is Madonna. All you do after coming out of the theatre is to hum Ka Ka Ka Ka Ka Po. (more)

No idea, how long these directors going to show Vijay Sethupathi as a edupdu thodupu Rowdi. Avarum rowdi thaanga avara apadiye kadanthu poga vidunga. But truth is currently he is the only hero who can do such roles with ease, a mix of both mass & comedy. Ordinary scene la kooda claps vangrar Vijay sethupathi. The consistent performance from Vs in NRD, Sethupathi and Kakapo just proves he is one of the best Tamil actor in recent times. Madonna is a surprise she acts well. If not for the brilliant performance of VS & Madonna the movie will be definitely a disappointment. Sana music is adequate. Brilliant lead actors performance and good music alone wont give a good product. You need a story too. KakakaPo, VijaySethupathi kaga po ! 2.5/5 (more)

If you are expecting a Soodhu Kavvum you might be disappointed. A feel good film not so engaging. Vijay Sethupathi and Madonna Sebastin saves the show with their performances. Santhosh Naraynan Music is repetitive. Once Watchable. (more)
