Unlimited action guaranteed.

Thoongavanam doesn't quite fall in the suspense category; rather it's more of a raw gritty action drama that chugs on with the help of a strong edge of the seat screenplay. (more)

There are thrills and surprises worth experiencing in this Thoongavanam

If one has to complain, it must be about the slight slow pace of the movie. On the whole, Thoongavanam, though looks to be a long night, is a happening one! (more)

This Kamal Haasan-Trisha starrer is more Hollywood than Kollywood

It's an action thriller that stays true to its genre and a good break from the regular Kollywood films. It has no song and dance, romance or masala. It's a slick, well-made film that takes you through the course of what happens over one night to one man. (more)

Thoongavanam, neatly made thriller with slight pace issues and movie has little awe-inspiring moments like Kitchen fight sequences, dialogues. Technical wise music and DOP is brilliant. Apart from Kamal and Trisha, other major characters are not utilized fully. Though individually they did their par... (more)

Thoongaavanam, the remake of Nuit Blanche, hadn't reached out to that Original. With few unaffecting and unimpressive changes done to the Screenplay, Kamal Sir fails delivering the connecting factor. Though not bad for a debut the Director couldn't do justice to the Original. As for other works, the... (more)
