Kamal Haasan is restrained as actor and efficient as director

Given all the budgetary constraints, it is indeed surprising to see Kamal Haasan's ability to deliver a good quality product of international standards. Kamal Haasan as a director and actor shines through-out the movie. Kamal Haasan dialogues are engaging and have subtle references to real-life. (more)

Despite having some genuinely good moments, the film tries to put forth a little too much, a little too quickly.

Vishwaroopam 2 is a classic example of overkill. This multi-lingual film has been shot in both Tamil and Hindi. And despite having some genuinely good moments, the film tries to put forth a little too much, a little too quickly.(more)

The Kamal Haasan film is an incoherent mess

Even Kamal Haasan can't rise above the shockingly inept script, which he rescues only in a few places, when his trademark intelligent, wry self-awareness manages to kick in. The rest can be safely ignored.(more)

Kamal Haasan's Film Fires Blanks - Noisy But Of No Use

Haasan could have invested his energies on something more constructive - his second last Sabaash Naidu sounds fun - and audiences would ...(more)

Kamal Haasan's inimitable style saves this mixed bag of a sequel

The USP of the film is Kamal Haasan, who doesn't look his age (63) and does action, romance and dialogue-delivery with consummate ease and style. Some of the action scenes are well choreographed. Ghibran's music is a major plus point. But the sequel is nowhere near the first part and looks stretched...(more)

Vishwaroopam 2 is a fitting sequel to the masterpiece

Kamal has masterfully crafted this prequel+sequel, traced back and tracked forward Wisam Ahmad Kashmiri's life in a polished manner. If you've watched Vishwaroopam, try not to miss this one.(more)

Multidimensional Masterpiece

A great screenplay is one which keeps the curiosity element going and Kamal has achieved that in totality. Nothing is spoon fed and the audience get to piece together the puzzle which is the biggest pleasure of 'Vishwaroopam 2'. On the surface level it may be an espionage thriller but beneath it a...(more)

Disappointed! A film that has a potential of becoming a kind of Spy Thriller film series like 'Bourne' is diverted to an emotional drama for no reasons. I could not find a single brilliance that first part had. However the initial half showed us some glimpse of KH brilliance in writing, the witty/po... (more)
