Karthi's next film titled Madras?

Karthi's upcoming film directed by Ranjith of Attakathi fame is said to have been titled Madras. The film which war earlier titled Kaali has now been retitled as Madras. However an official confirmation is awaited from the makers.

The film is set in the backdrop of North Chennai and Karthi plays a guy hailing from North Madras. Catherine Tresa plays the female lead. Music by Santhosh Narayanan. Camera will be handled by G. Murali. Madras is produced by Studio Green. The film shooting is almost wrapped except for some patchwork shoot. The post production work is currently in progress.
