Kamal Haasan in Drishyam Tamil remake

Mohan Lal, Meena starrer Drishyam (2013) is one of the blockbuster hits in the Mollywood film industry in the recent times. The film, a family thriller, won critical acclaim from both the audiences and critics. The film was directed by Jeethu Joseph.

The film is set to be remade in Tamil with Kamal Haasan in the lead role. Kamal will reprise the role of Mohanlal. The Tamil remake will be directed by Jeethu Joseph who directed the original Malayalam version. It will be produced by Wide Angle Creations. The film will go on floors from June.

The film is also being remade in Telugu with Venkatesh in the the lead role. It will be directed by Sripriya.
