Over a year after Good Bad Ugly (2025), Ajith Kumar's next film finally has a title — Daredevil. The project marks his wife Shalini Ajithkumar's official turn as producer, and reunites Ajith with director Adhik Ravichandran for their second collaboration.

Ajith plays the titular character in what marks his 64th film as a lead, with Adhik also penning the script. While full details on cast and plot are still under wraps, the announcement poster suggests a story centered around gambling. Shalini is backing the film under her Bravehearts Production banner.

Anirudh returns to compose the music, continuing his run with Ajith and Adhik following Good Bad Ugly. The technical team also includes cinematographer Abinandhan Ramanujam, editor Vijay Velukutty, stunt choreographer Supreme Sundar, and sound designer Suren — who recently earned a Special Mention for Sound Mixing at the 72nd National Film Awards for his work on Meiyazhagan (2024).

Daredevil marks Ajith's return to films after a year-long break spent pursuing his racing career — during which he competed in the Le Mans endurance series alongside former F1 driver Narain Karthikeyan, as part of the Ajith Kumar Racing Team.
