The makers of Kara, starring Dhanush and directed by Vignesh Raja, have unveiled a special video titled “Faces of Kara”, offering glimpses into the film’s characters.
The latest reveal introduces Sreeja Ravi as Dhanam, marking the first time her character look has been officially showcased. Over the past few days, the team has been releasing character posters, gradually building intrigue around the film’s ensemble.

Produced by Ishari K Ganesh under Vels Film International in association with Think Studios, the film features a strong ensemble cast including MS Baskar among others.
Kara marks Vignesh Raja’s second directorial after the critically acclaimed Por Thozhil. The film is set against the backdrop of the early 1990s during the Gulf War, unfolding in Ramanathapuram, and promises an intense narrative of survival and conflict.
The technical team includes music by GV Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Theni Eswar, editing by Sreejith Sarang, art direction by Mayapandi, and action choreography by Dinesh Kasi.
With its intriguing character lineup and rooted setting, Kara is slated for a theatrical release on April 30.
