After directing nine feature length films, filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj has now begun his tenth Tamil film in Madurai. Director Karthik Subbaraj's 10th movie will by produced by Guneet Monga who won an Oscar in 2023 for producing the Netflix documentary short, The Elephant Whisperers.

Achin Jain from Guneet Monga Kapoor's Shikya Entertainment is the other producer on Karthik Subbaraj's film. "A new chapter unfolds! Cameras roll on Day 1 for our Tamil film with the brilliant Karthik Subbaraj. All of us at Sikhya are super excited to bring this story to life with all our heart, vision, and cinematic fire. 🔥", wrote Monga taking to her social media handles. 

The yet to be titled movie went on floors with a pooja ceremony at Madurai on November 10, 2025 (Monday). An official announcement on the cast and crew is currently awaited.
