Streaming platform Netflix is seeing a rise in South Indian content post the PAN-Indian reception of Vijay Sethupathi starrer Maharaja (2024), and 6 new OTT series in Tamil and Telugu languages are all set to premiere on Netflix at the moment.

One of the Tamil web series all set to premiere on Netflix is titled Love, which is directed by Balaji Mohan of Maari (2015) and Maari 2 (2018), Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi (2012) and Vaayai Moodi Pesavum (2014) fame.
Starring Arjun Das and Aishwarya Lekshmi, Love offers a refreshing take on modern romance. The show playfully explores the age-old debate as two unlikely partners embark on a unique challenge that brings them closer in unexpected ways. Packed with humour and heart, Love is said to capture all that falling in love comes with today.
Love is a production venture of Soundarya Rajinikanth's May 6 Entertainment. Soundarya Rajinikanth has previously directed movies like Velai Illa Pattadhari 2 (2017), and the animated period action Kochadaiiyaan (2014) starring Rajinikanth, Deepika Padukone among others.
Soundarya has also produced the Tamil movie Goa (2010), has worked as a graphic designer on 5 Tamil movies of leading stars, and has designed the title sequence in her father Rajinikanth's films—Sivaji (2007), Chandramukhi (2002), Baba (2002), and Padayappa (1999).
