Sivakarthikeyan and Venkat Prabhu Join Hands for a Sci-Fi Time-Travel Film

Director Venkat Prabhu and actor Sivakarthikeyan are teaming up for a new Tamil film that’s set to be very different from their previous works. The story and screenplay are complete, and both Sivakarthikeyan and the producers are said to be excited about the project.

The film will be a science fiction, time-travel adventure, a fresh genre for both the actor and the director. Venkat Prabhu revealed that it will be a fun, mass-appeal entertainer with innovative elements specially written for Sivakarthikeyan, who will appear in a completely new role. For the first time, Venkat Prabhu will team up with Anirudh Ravichander for music, marking a major change from his usual collaboration with Yuvan Shankar Raja

The movie is expected to start shooting in late October or early November 2025 under Sathya Jyothi Films. Casting for the female leads is still in progress, with names like Kalyani Priyadarshan and Gayathrie Shankar being considered.

Sivakarthikeyan will begin work on this film after completing his ongoing projects “Madharasi” (releasing September 5, 2025) and “Parasakthi.”
