AR Murugadoss directed Madharaasi starring Sivakarthikeyan, Rukmini Vasanth in the lead continues its strong run at the box office and is now inching closer to the Rs. 100 Cr gross mark worldwide. In 11 days of theatrical run, Madharaasi is estimated to have grossed Rs. 55 Cr+ in Tamil Nadu alone. 

Madharaasi's worldwide box-office collections has climbed to nearly Rs. 90 Cr gross, with overseas and rest-of-India markets contributing significantly alongside the strong home run. Trade estimates that the Madharaasi film will breach the Rs. 100 Cr milestone in the coming days.

Madharaasi's performance so far not only reinforces Sivakarthikeyan’s growing box office pull, but also adds another commercial winner to AR Murugadoss’ filmography. The film produced by Sri Laksmi Movies has Anirudh Ravichander for music, and also stars Biju Menon, Vikranth, Vidyut Jammwal, Shabeer Kallarakkal among others.
