Hamsini Entertainment, the official overseas distributor of Coolie, has issued a stern statement addressing the circulation of fake box-office numbers related to the film’s global performance.
The company emphasized that only the producers Sun Pictures, and Hamsini Entertainment are authorized to release collection updates, warning that any other figures being circulated on social media or unofficial trade pages are unreliable and misleading.
Taking to their official X account around midnight (IST), Hamsini Entertainment sent out this following official statement:

It has come to our notice that certain groups and unofficial pages with vested interests are spreading fake box office numbers and creating unnecessary noise around the global performance of Coolie.
We wish to clarify the following in the interest of transparency and fairness:
1️⃣ Authentic NumbersOnly producers and Hamsini Entertainment (Oveseas Distributor) will release official collection updates. Any other figures circulating online are unreliable and must not be treated as factual.
2️⃣ Misinformation & DamageSpreading fabricated numbers or exaggerated comparisons is not only misleading but also directly harmful to the reputation of the film, its stakeholders, and the audiences who trust us.
3️⃣ Legal ActionWe are closely monitoring such activities. Any deliberate attempt to distort, manipulate, or defame will be met with strong legal remedies — including claims for defamation and financial damages.

The movie has been performing exceptionally well at the overseas box-office, and Hamsini Entertainment's slamming of fake box-office reports, and threating legal action, comes in lieu of vested interests claiming to be otherwise.
