Coolie headlined by Superstar Rajinikanth was previously scheduled for an USA premiere at 6 AM IST, but production house Sun Pictures has now intervened and decided to advance the first show of Coolie by an hour. Coolie FDFS will now begin at 5 AM IST in North America i.e. USA and Canada.

In the North American timeline, Coolie premieres begin at 7: 30 PM EST/6.30 PM CST/5.30 PM MST/4.30 PM PST on August 13, 2025. Coolie bookings opened across select Cinemark locations across USA on July 23, 2025. 

In just 5 days, Coolie managed to rake in $500K (Rs. 4.32 Cr+) from USA premiere advance bookings. The current Coolie USA gross is estimated to be around $567 K (Rs. 4.90 Cr+), with the Tamil version yielding $470 K+ (Rs. 4.06 Cr), and Coolie Telugu raking in 97K+ (Rs. 83. 92 lakhs)  across 352 locations, and 785 shows. 

Coolie releases in theaters worldwide on August 14, 2025. The movie written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj also stars Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna, Shruthi Haasan, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Pooja Hegde among others, and has Anirudh Ravichander for music. 

Currently, Coolie is gearing up for a grand trailer launch on August 2, 2025 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Coolie trailer is the only video cut to be releasing ahead of the film's release.
