Rummy starring Vijay Sethupathy, Inigo Prabakaran, Gayathrie, Aishwarya and Soori is directed by débutante director Balakrishnan. Rummy is a village-based, college love story set in the backdrop of 1980s.The film has been censored with a clean 'U' Certificate.

Music by Imman. JSK Film Corporation has acquired the distribution rights of the film. The makers are planning to release the film during the Christmas weekend. Rummy is likely to hit the screens on December 27.
