Recently, it was officially announced that the Indian 2 trailer release date is June 25, 2024 [Tuesday], and now we hear that Indian 2 trailer will be attached to another Kamal Haasan starrer i.e. Kalki 2898 AD, which is releasing on June 27, 2024 [Thursday]. 

Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan in the lead is an Telugu-Hindu bilingual, which has Kamal Haasan playing a Thanos-like villain named Supreme Yaskin. Kamal Haasan's look in Kalki 2898 AD is as extensive as his look as the vigilante 'Senpathy' in Indian 2. 

Both Indian 2 and Kalki 2898 AD are mega-budget multi-starrers, that are releasing in multiple languages like Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. Lyca Productions, Red Giant Movies are the banners behind Indian 2 with Anirudh Ravichander for music, while Vyjayanthi Movies has produced Kalki 2898 AD with Santhosh Narayanan for music.
