Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron is best known as the two-time Oscar winning Best director of the Sandra Bullock, George Clooney starrer Gravity (2014), and the critically acclaimed semi-autobiography Roma (2019). Roma was also the Best International Feature Film at the Oscars in 2019, and Alfonso Cuaron has two more Oscars for Best Editing for Gravity, and Best Cinematography for Roma. 

The multi-talented Alfonso Cuarón however is most popular for directing the British film Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), the third movie in the popular franchise adapted from JK Rowling's Harry Potter books. 

On Sunday, Tamil star actor Kamal Haasan surprised his Instagram followers by sharing a series of photos with Alfonso Cuaron, meeting K-town celebrities at Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) office. Besides Kamal Haasan, seen in the images chatting up Cuaron were fellow Academy Award winner and music composer AR Rahman, ace director Mani Ratnam, and Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 co-star, and the newly engaged actors Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari.
