The Garfield Movie is an upcoming animated comedy film based on a popular comic strip titled Garfield, by Jim Davis. Hollywood star Chris Pratt has voiced the titular character, who is a cynical, lazy orange tabby cat with a penchant for sleeping, hating Mondays and exercise and loving lasagnas. 

On Monday, Sony Pictures India officially announced The Garfield Movie's India release date as May 17, 2024 [Friday]. The Garfiled Movie is releasing in English, and dubbed Hindi versions in India.

Hollywood actor Samuel L Jackson has voiced for Vic, Garfield's biological father in the movie. Famous American rapped Snoop Dogg also makes a voice appearance as a cat in The Garfield Movie. 

The Garfield Movie releases in India ahead of the US (May 24). The film is directed by Mark Dindal and has screenplay by Paul A. Kaplan, Mark Torgove, and David Reynolds.
