Back in 2019, MovieCrow had reported of a potential collaboration between actor Suriya and director R. Ravikumar, who at that time had been busy with Ayalaan starring Sivakarthikeyan. Latest we hear this Suriya, R. Ravikumar movie, which will also be a sci-fi outing like Ravikumar's previous directorials - Ayalaan (2024) and Indru Netru Naalai (2015),  is currently in early stages of production.

3+ years ago, MovieCrow had also reported that SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures is most likely to produce the Suriya, R. Ravikumar film. The banner has previously collaborated with Suriya on NGK (2019).
