More than a year ago, MovieCrow had reported that actor Ajith Kumar is all set to team up with director Siva for the 5th time after Veeram (2014), Vedalam (2015), Vivegam (2017) and Viswasam (2019). We had also reported that Sun Pictures production banner will be producing this project. Latest we hear, actor Ajith has officially signed this project and that it will go on floors by late 2024 or early 2025. 

Actor Ajith is currently set to begin AK 62 with Lyca Productions and director Magizh Thirumeni. The movie is expected to have its first official update on Ajith's birthday on May 1, 2023. Post the movie Ajith will set out on a 'Ride For Mutual Respect' world bike tour which will give him a significant break from the film industry.
