The last time SJ Suryah directed a Tamil film, he did it after a 10-year break [Anbe Aaruyire had come out in 2005 and his last Tamil directorial Isai in 2015]. Now 7 years later SJ Suryah, who has been appearing in strong character and lead roles since, is back in the news for returning to filmmaking.

Word has it that SJ Suryah is currently on the look out for a female lead and other supporting actors for a film he will direct and play the lead in. Reportedly, this movie is based on cars and SJ Suryah seemingly has imported a car from Germany to be used in it.
