After Maanaadu, actor Silambarasan TR promised an interesting line-up with movies like Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu (VTK), Pathu Thala, Corona Kumar and an untitled 50th movie with director Ram. However latest buzz in the industry is that the fate of Corona Kumar is currently in a fix, owing to financial disagreements between Simbu and producer Ishari K Ganesh. 

VTK also produced by Ishari K Ganesh and directed by Gautham Menon is progressing at a brisk pace without any hindrance. However word is that Corona Kumar which is yet to go on floors, may progress only if Silambarasan and the producer come to a mutual agreement. Corona Kumar is to be directed by Gokul and also star Fahadh Faasil in an important role.

The movie is a spiritual sequel to Gokul's 2013 comedy hit Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara.
