Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam may not be an officially registered political outfit but they have all the makings of a smart one. The organization which works in favour of actor Vijay's political interests has been supporting individual candidates who are contesting in the Tamil Nadu local body elections and recently they pulled something unheard of in door-to-door vote campaigns.

To support a candidate contesting in the 88th ward, VMI brought in a Vijay look-alike all the way from Kerala. This fake Vijay was dressed in the actor's signature style from Master and even recreated the entry scene from the movie, which has now found a place in pop-culture reference.

Duplicate Vijay may not have been successful in fooling everyone with his identity, but he did leave the crowd amused as seen in this video.
