Maanaadu is a Venkat Prabhu directed time-loop thriller, where film's hero Silambarasan TR tries to stop a political conspiracy from taking place. In one particular part of the film, villain SJ Suryah who is also stuck in a loop finds Simbu at his mercy, after he specifically warned him to not come after his evil plan. Simbu's character Abdul Khaaliq gives a single shot performance this point, the behind-the-scenes of which has now been unveiled.  

Maanaadu, produced by Suresh Kamatchi is currently running in theaters and its OTT premiere is expected on Sony Liv on December 24, 2021. The movie's TV premiere is scheduled on Vijay TV channel.
